We're getting the exact opposite with pressure washing, normally we'll only do 4-5 jobs a month pressure washing.

So far this month I've got 12 booked in to be done, varying in size from 30m2 to over 500m2, block paving and flags.

4 of my friends in the building trade have been laid off and others made redundant in the last week, and my birds compant have just laid 2 off who have been there for 30 years, is this the sign of things to come?/  the building guys said its going to get a lot worse they were told, its not looking good,  im sure a few pressure washing guys will have to fold their business's with no work, there have been tonnes on ebay. :(

Dont forget to follow them up.

They can tell you why they haven;t replied then. Or perhaps they have just forgot? You dont know unless you find out.

We have not had any customers cancel, and are getting similar number of request for residential cleaning, business / office seems slower and the people we are talking to seem to be more sensitive to price. I hope this helps.

Still getting enquiries for commercial but they seem to be looking for the cheapest quotes possible and I think some will use this as an excuse to get rid of cleaners they are not happy with.

Companies are taking longer to pay.

As for a downturn in work I am picking up contracts and am as busy as ever but some of my larger clients are so slow to pay. though I have covered myself in a way as all contracts taken out in last 12-18 months state when and max % that it will go up normally every 12 months so if they want to be slow then I am more likely to put it up as much as I can allthough this may result in the loss of some work, but isnt it funny how the biggest companies are the worst payers one hotel told me it would be three months before I got paid and if they didnt get the bill buy the 5th then it would be four months I priced high but did not get the work well good luck whoever is doing it. As for the weather I love this weather the valeting is still coming in fast and they all pay straight away just how I like it
