hi there,

we use the nvm contractor vacs, which in essence are the henry motors,  our tub vacs are working every day of the week, get used and abused, on sites, dust, wood shavings, brick dust, chunks of plaster.  No problems whatsoever.

each machine is bag checked and replaced weekly, and the silk filters are brushed out.

then for sparkles that are carpetted we use an ensign twin motor upright.

we wouldnt use anything else at the moment, i may look at back pack vacs in the future, but not at the moment, the nvm contactor vacs, work well and are very rugged.

Tel Anderson Electrical Derby 01332 343121

Bought Hi Pro back pack from them 3years ago would not be without it on contract work, much easier & faster to cover large areas & you dont have to drag a tub round.

hi there,

nutec ntd- just had a look on the net at one, if you are doing house builder developer cleans, every day of the week, then i would say that, that is no the machine for you.

WHY

PPG3 -- which is the latest planning and development guidelines from central government, is demanding a higher density of build.  and the only way to do that is to build higher, 3 and 4 storey jobs.

You dont want to be lugging them up and down the stairs all the time.

also when the site manager asks you to do another sparkle on the top floor cause they have repainted.

tub vacs everytime, and a lot more cost effective.

We have two Henry's which have gone through some abuse over the past 12 months and are still going strong, we always use them without bags for first clean then with bags for sparkle.  All the cleaners love them.

Cost about £80 each from Costco, so if and when they do eventually die then I can easily replace them
