Why do you keep posting these things? If we want to read them, we can just go to the website it came from.

The thing is, I don't think they do sell and I say that from experience.
I think all this does is advertise an area is about to be dumped and people wait then leaflet that area anyway, so picking it up for nothing.

LWC ltd what is all that about !
Moving from the isle of wight to the mainland in december, what use would it be buying that round now?
If you read all the quote it says coming months not tommorow,if he was to buy that who would do it for the next3/4 months.

That's what this site is all about.
Why not just get out there and leaflet drop, carry a notebook if needbe to make notes on individual properties/streets/areas.

Some of you on here need to take a chill pill. - Was just injecting a bit of humour into what was an a perfectly valid answer to your question.  - what would be the best way to buy a round in Surrey?

'look for a round for sale in Surrey' is not particualrly stupid if you think about it.
If he is moving in December then you better start looking now. In most cases buying a round is not like buying a car where you just take the keys and go. You might need to work the round once first and then it might not be due again for another month. The guy selling the round is moving to Australia so unless he's got his flight booked for next week he's probably not in a desprate rush is he.

Here's a helpful comment for you: I wouldn't get a canvassing company to canvass in December either. They charge you for the customers they get and anyone who goes out canvassing  near Xmas will know that half the customers you get are one offs wanting the windows clean for their relatives coming round for Chrismas pud. To save hassle with refunds for one offs and all that polava just do like Neil said and canvass yourself if you want to go down that road.

At the end of the day though if you are looking to buy a round in Surrey then phoning rounds advertised for sale in Surrey is probably a sensible suggestion is it not?

Only other thing to do is scout the areas you want, look out for window cleaners and ask if they want to sell any work.

I have just sold my round , and I am working it with the new owner !  I have told him any customers he loses , I will replace !  If you are just finnishing your job , then either a roundbuilder or buying some work is the best options to get started IMHO .      Just a word of caution , if you buy a round it is not tax deductable !!!  All you are buying at the end of the day is goodwill .  ;D
