An Excuse to charge more!
« on: September 02, 2008, 05:17:01 pm »
First the doom and gloom was fuel prices, then for joe public the gas went up, now it seems the next thing to go up house maintenance  (according to the daily mail - www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1050933/How-crazy-new-Health-Safety-rules-ladders-repairs-homes.html  ) I thought it would be of interest here as the rise is being caused by - the working at height directive. Even window cleaners and wfp get a mention with a typical out of touch quote from the fed - I am sure most earn more than that!

Why would we want anyone to think we earned more....? If people think we earn £10 an hour, then they're less likely to sack us as their bills increase.... :P

Yes I did - Went out saturday night, didn't go on the computer sunday. Then yesterday got up in the morning, had a school on so only went on emails for a second and rushed off to job. This morning I tried to log in to my emails to reply but there has been a problem with the sky email page so haven't been able to get on. I will try again shortly and as soon as I am on I will reply. Oh and to answer one question my names pete btw!

I am getting too old to be around people who  don't understand the concept of  loyalty and honesty.
