Jeff will you be taking pictures as you go along fitting the tank in? my dad could easly bolt mine into the chassis he knows what do etc with shuving a tube of steel into so not crushing the cassis but hes gettin abit old now   and has knakkerd knees. but il get him to weld a cage up

yes from jerkinbed mate  am only 22 but dont think the Hamliton Club is there now haha. Yeh i have work allround bidston and so on  Where about in bidston did you live? were are you now?

I dont live too far from from there mate im over the water but its around 15-20 mins away . i have some work in the twon centre of Liverpool though.

I never thought of doing pictures as I went along but your Dad has the correct idea.

Its getting a little close for comfort before I hand it all over to my daughter on the 8th September, my paint for the floor hasn't arrived yet, I'm hoping its here on Tuesday if it is, I'll get the floor painted and then once dry I'll install the Tank.
If I do have the time I'll try to do a Haynes manual type of thing for him, but he has the right idea.

haha thats quite right jeff we would be lost without our dads

he lately sorted my ladder clamp problem out lol they used to just bend because i use commercial roof rack so insdead of the rack bending with the force they just bend the clamps which becomes anoying lol.

hehee good  its fantastic over in liverpool with all this new building work going on and stuff.

I made a set of ladder clamps once, I used some box steel for the main section and round bar, I cut a thread on the bar and bent it into a J, I then welded a nut onto the box section and drilled a hole to feed the bar in, stuck a small bolt on each end to stop it coming off when I did it up, I ended up giving them away to another w/c  still got a set of factory ones though 

My Brother keeps me up-to date with the progress of the pool and I do pop back to see him now and again.

Yer thats the main problem with them the J just bends so hes welded a sort of small nipple onto end of the J and then on the top were the cross bar is used to bend so when you spin them down they start rubing on the cross metal so hes strenthend the cross parts and the handles that spin are slightly bent upwards work a treat 


I bet its changed loads over the years.

I damaged my roof bars over time by over tightning them,  I'm  just glad I don't use them anymore.

I also made (in wood) my own 6' pointer ladder I turned the rungs on my wood lathe and that's stuck in the shed now.

I get lost every time I return, saying that I haven't been back for 2 years.

Lived on what was called the Ford Estate (name now changed to protect the guilty..!!) but also in Mercer Road and Colin Road just off Hoylake Road near the shops by the doughnut church.
Now living in Devon...........
