Graffiti Removal

Hi All
Wondering if you jet wash masters can help me out.
Just done some graffiti removal around a school. I have removed about 40 tags (marker pen, the size of an envelope) which were on wood panelling (just jet washed off) and then some more on some glass. There was also a large offensive tag which is why they wanted the work done the same day and have not asked for a price. There for a total of 3 hours. I was thinking about £300 but is that too much as there is some more biz for me if I price it right. Also do you guys charge per sqm, per hour or by callout, any help would be appreciated
Ta very much
Tim

Grafitti - I charge £280 a day minimum, depending on whats its on as you can use £140 of chemicals in a day.

A tag is a piece of grafitti - maybe big or small but is personal to the vandal, I like tags because it gives me a warm feeling removing them

how much do you charge for graffiti around 1 metre sq on a wall? do you charge for sq m or time plus chemicals? or do you learn from experience, i can imagine at first charging an amount, then finding it takes a lot longer to shift, especially the ghost, do the ghost always come off? how many goes with chemical would you do? cheers guys.

There is no definative answer to any of these questions, it all depends on the surface, the paint, how long its been there etc Silver and gold are worse, brickwork is worse than cladding but you can use stronger chemicals. Experience helps but you are guessing most of the time - quote for the worse case and always do a test piece.

thanks for that BDCS, based on the scenario of 3 hours and a couple of litres of grafitti removal gel do you think that £300 is about right?

Depending on how far it is from home then thats good money but you can go cheaper if need be, If you think you can get that then go for it

as in brick and polycarbonate .
