variflo+ on cleaning spot
« on: August 28, 2008, 04:45:47 pm »
need some help here, have an aquatec pump 100 psi and want to add a variable controller, was looking at the varistream 2 but all the talk on here of messing around inside adjusting settings is putting me off!

was on cleaning spot and looked at the variflo+ which is a controller and a battery charger in one.

not sure how this works but would it be suitable with a leisure battery ( 110ah) or would the battery still require a bench charge?

does anyone use the variflo+ ???

Unless you are doing mega milage every day you will still need to charge your battery regularly.

thanks andrew, what controller would you advise is the simpler option for me then? no point in having the one that charges the battery if i am going to have to bench charge anyway.

For charging your second battery just g a split charger fitted and literally forget about it.....

If you want an easier and cheeper opion to the Varistream then check out the Ecoflow.....

www.essentiallypure.co.uk/products/product_display.php?page=eco_flow

and the Flow Master from Pure Freedom £75 inc vat and delivery ( I use this one)

thanks mr h. i am a bit confused with the conflicting advice about the split chargers, i suppose just different opinions but some swear by them and others say they are a waste of time. i suppose looking at the one on cleaning spot the price difference is not that different to the standard one on essentially pure, so i may aswell go with it and buy myself a charger incase of emergencies

thanks

If I have done a large amount of really local stuff then I might but the battery on charge over night just to be on the safe side........ How ever I would be in more trouble if I didn't have a slit charger and forgot to switch the charger on one night....
