So many people particularly my friends who own small businesses, complain about not getting the custom they desire, but a little thought and a killer headline can make all the difference. I have been studying successfull copy writers for a long time as i am fascinated why they achieve so much success through sales leters and the most important point is to have an killer headline and a excellent sales letter, invest in a copy writing course and teach yourselves, successfull  copy writers could sell meat to a vegetarian. What a gift!

If not, they will patter about not knowing what to do. Plant your tree, let it grow as trees grow.SLOWLY. Water it, feed it and look after it lovingly and one day you will see the most magnificent blossom. The same goes in business, Market accurately, learn & study. Successfull Business is all in the marketing.

Sorry for the patter, it just annoys me when people complain of not getting customers, instead of buying bigger, better products or whatever, invest in a marketing or copy writing course, the rewards would be justified.

You are basically onto something. You don't actually have to be any good at cleaning carpets to attract customers but you do have to be good to retain customers. In other words "you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk!"

So as in so many other issues it's a case of balance between talking and walking.

P.S. Your headline should read "MONKEYS WILL CLIMB IF THERE ARE TREES!" (You were mixing singular verbs and plural objects!!)

running round the streets naked will get attention, doesn't mean its a good thing,
all i was pointing out was, that headline would not work for me backed up by my wife.
a killer headline is good. but no matter what it says it'll never appeal to everyone.
