Like anyone is going to pay £10,000 for £2,300 per month.
I can't even give away some of the stuff I have going

Having looked at others on there does anyone really buy at these daft prices with no guarentees that the 'customers' will go with a new cleaner.

£120,000 turnover and I'll throw in 1 x Transit 1 x Peugeot Expert and 1 x Kangoo for just £1m

In 1996 I sold my business.  It was turning over £1,500/week.  I split it into three and sold it as three businesses with vans and all (trad) equipment.

I got £30,000 ::)

All three are still working, and all reckon they got good value for money

That works out about the same price as the advertised round Ian - except that you threw the van's in.  Quite a big difference I think :)  .  £500 a week (for each portion) works out at about £2,166 a month sold by you for 10 grand.  I don't suppose the bloke selling would throw his van in for nothing though.
Seriously though, I am giving some thought to ringing this guy up to discuss buying a portion of the work (he's prepared to split it).  I do think 4x is too high though for work that has only been worked for 4 months.  I wouldn't want a load of that "phone the night before" stuff either.  I regard 4x as his starting point for discussion and although it could nicely fill in some gaps, I'm not desparate by any stretch.
No decisions tonight.  I'm going to sleep on whether to ring him or not.
