David-please do not thank me as i really get more pleasure out of many satisfied customers ringing me on a daily routine thanking me and my staff for work well done.

We also earn less than 500 quid a week and could not justify charging such un-realistic rates, nor working for more-how could you possibly ask for more?

My work is not all carpet cleaning tho as i supply floorcoverings too-but i would never ever put a man onsite in Birkenhead or Coventry (or wherever?) and ask for more than 500 a week-its unheard of isnt it?

Trying-or even attempting to argue using words which you dont really understand does prove a tiring exercise but is actually amusing me but promise me one thing-put the special brew down at ten o'clock so that you may get a decent shift in on the following day!

Ah remembered that other great saying-did your mothers midwife throw away the best bit?

Love the banter-STOP-CARRY ON!

Damian.

terrible clinton
turned the first one down when i got there, belgium wilton, she said she didn't mind it shrinking so i said fair enough, got there, moved the furniture and then i saw warn patches right through to the jute. so i told her straight there was no way i could stop that getting wet, and if it browned then the carpet would be ruined, so she thanked me for my honesty and give me a tenner for hoovering, then went to the next job, single room (very small garage conversion)£50, she had some wax in another room so i said can i get it out for her free of charge (oooo errr misses), it only took me 30 mins to clean the first room so i thought its the least i could do. steamer and truck mount extraction, there was a candle factory under the carpet i swear, everytime i got some out a shed load more came to the surface, took me half an hour. then travelled half an hour to do another quote, turned out she was EOT and didnt want a quality job, took my card though for future ref as she was well impressed with my patwa. then i went to do a survey for  an estate agent and now ive got the sock dye dilemma, (see other thread). so crap day really, think its the longest day ive done for the least amount of money. roll on sunday, 1 job, full house, £240. oh yes, kerching
how many vikings????

Good that your earning so much Gerry. How much is c/c as I notice you do much more. Hope you're considering the best way to invest your considerable earnings while it's there.

I may be wrong but one may be Kevin, Kestrel. I know he was trying to sell his business, but he told me it was he had other more profitable ventures. Not sure who else?

There's got to be at least 20 CC who will pitch for work in Weston, so not suprised.
