How many of you send your quotation proposals by pdf/attachment

Is it a good idea or not ?

I send  my quotes by e mail, royal snail or even verbally depending on the situation - did'nt know if I will recieve a verbal onslaught for the reply ??? I have been self employed 5 years and only do very simple quotes because they suit me

Julie,

Whenever we send a proposal out, it's always via e-mail, producing the hardcopy comes later after initial acceptance. We also "Sell" this as part of our environmental policy.
