Have long since learned not to get into arguments on taking sides in disputes that don't concern me ........... i use what i want to supply to my customers.
I know what the regulars like and what the new ones are looking for so i use whatever that requires  ;)
Charly's make my life easier and my customers happy so i will buy from wherever available............. same with AllergSTOP  ::)

Solution,
Now have a product called" allergy- out " same claims as allergenstop.

Whats the difference? just the name!!   or is it the same formulation ?

How ironic, Alltec now have Gunter, and solutions have safeclean .
was it half time ? all change around ;D ;)

Chris I like your first sentence, if only it were true ;D but you are right, if you like a product and someone else sells it why cut your nose off to spite your face?

Obviously SolutionsUK weren't selling enough of it so they and Gunther have parted that's good business isn't it?

At least it looks like Alltec are going to make the product accessible.

From what I understand so far there is no initial fee AND it will be cheaper. From that angle it is worth trying or at least having some on board as an up-sell opportunity.

Has anyone tried the Masterblend range compared to Allergenstop stuff. Seems to be very popular on US forums and even includes a laundry wash that you can sell to clients.

They're a normal bonnet with a bit of foam sandwiched in the middle, so i understand,  to supposedly increase absorbency.

The word 'supposedly' is very important here because in my experience these things are vertually non absorbant compared to cotton pads, and the amount of water they throw out over about 12 inches has to be seen.

Maybe when used incorrectly ......... never seen that myself, do you use wringer bucket or wring by hand  ???

Re: Alltec Solution Glockner
« Reply #29 on: August 23, 2008, 10:26:02 pm »
Used the wringer as supplied with the pads care of solutions, that was a joke because the wringer wasn't up to the job and kept slipping it's gears.
But not to worry because at a previous CCDO I was shown by 'An Expert' how to wring them out by hand. I use the word wring 'loosely' because that's exactly what it was.....hardly at all.....hence the water flying out 12 inches in a 360 degree circle.
So which way is it? Wring them out to an inch of their lives or leave quite wet?

Happy medium I'd have thought, the same with DF pads, in the early days of DF I was using them drenched then Uncle Ken said on some areas he just sprayed the bonet it's just a 'see where it takes you' moment.

Chris when using Charlie pads do you spray carpet first then use pad with solution on?

So do you wring them right out or hand wring so they stay quite wet?

I don’t do special offers.

Ian

I know how much some one else was selling them for, plus as I said one sided so the sums need doing 1 set = two pads = £’s how many say for example Craftex standard pad can I get for that and they are double sided!  Plus should expect a discount for volume. I do hope this is taken in to consideration when they price it! Hopefully when I phone them Tuesday they wont start laughing as they did on two other occasions.

Jim

Check out there web site it their

Geoff

Most if not all franchisees buy a limited amount to keep the franchisor happy and decamp other into their branded container, also franchisors swap and change suppliers.

Neil

It’s called centrifugal force, even worse with a higher rpm then you need a skirt, never had a problem using them hand rung, wringer buckets weren’t invented then, perhaps that was an other innovation, found a use for the builders buckets now called pre-spay unit volume 70lts beats any pump up and its ugly but that in the design stage

Why not a fantastic battle a few years ago, now who is working for whom?

Am I losing the plot here or what ? :)

Your reply to Doug earlier on this topic - "I want the special offer Tuesday next week".

Thats why I asked what is the special offer - not do you do special offers !  ;D
