Hi all
I have been approached in the street today by a women from Combined insurance . I was wondering if anybody on here had heard of them and if the insurance was worth investing in ?

Depends what they are offering? I use Zurich they do my vehicle plus my public liability all on one policy.

The insurance company is called Combined, they are offering a benefit plan to cover personnal accidents such as broken bones.

Yes. I have a policy with them.

They are a good company offering income and accident protection which does cover window cleaning and all sports .
They have no defered period and all that is required is a sick line from the doctors .
They offer £1000 on a major break of bone and 500 on minor and the income protection is worth taking .
Gives me piece of mind if i break a leg/arm i can relax a bit.
A must for anyone self employed.

is the company called combined insurance of america?if so it will be well worth your while signing up.dont quote me on this but a think its around £35 a month and thats for £700 a month there abouts for any claims related to accidents.you neva no wots round that corner :

I used CISA a few years ago, be very careful.Had a £36p/m accident and £36p/m sickness cover.To cut a long story short in 2000 i was involved in a fatal crash and suffered neck and shoulder injuries.Had a slip a couple of years later and needed a month off work.Put my claim in and received a payment 2 months later for half what i should of got,queiried them and they said you have medical history of problem with shoulder so you dont get full amount.I then asked to just have sickness cover and not accident cover as i was now WFP and wasnt going to fall off the floor,there reply was you cant have sickness without accident.I now put the £72 to one side each month and if ever i'm ill its there.
