I tried to contact Glyn at omnipole !   More chance of finding lord Lucan !!!
We have ten staff at Omnipole three of whoms job it is to answer customers questions, solve problems and take telephone orders and in many cases answer emails.
Apart from Omnipole I also manage two window / gutter cleaning contracting companies - I am sorry but I am not always available to answer potential customers questions.

Sorry I cannot, I come onto the forum to relax, I have no technical information or prices available apart from what is on our website.
I can certainly  call you Monday.
Please dont take it personal but I made a business decision ten years ago not to take any business telephone calls over weekends.
If you email I will answer your questions before Monday.

How can you give negative feed back when you havent purchassed from us.

When you telephone Omnipole you will be answered promptly and professionally  and your question will be adressed.
Ok you may not be able to speak to me but neither could our customers like the MOD or Heathrow Airport for example. If I happen to be available and not in a meeting then I will answer customers questions, if I am in a meeting or surveying a window cleaning contract which I often am then  sorry but I cannot answer your question - but their are three others who can.

I have bought an omnivac, I even went to London on the train to see it. I never met Glyn but Jules and Andrea were sound as a pound. If you buy something from Marks and Spencer you don't have to meet the boss. Give him a break.

If I was in Glyns shoes I would let you struggle with the other crap systems on the market then after a few failed attempts at professional gutter cleaning let you beg to buy the Omnivac.  Some people just dont deserve helping  :-\

My opinion you understand  ;)

merton you are certainly entertaining :-* :-* just one question for you do you have 5 to 6k to invest in the gutter vac and do you hold any current gutter cleaning contracts?? I have part system and to complete the package with genny, powerwash, trailer and camera etc the above investment is what is required I also hold commercial gutter cleaning contracts otherwise I would not of invested in the system and plodded along with my window cleaning...think hard before investing... 6 k is a lot of cash...how much would that return you on domestic round by taking on another lad to help you?

hi kev,how are things going with your guttervac, are you picking up much work and do you need a powerwasher for most jobs-thanks

Its all going well. I have lately picked up three new large commercial contracts and we pick up more every time the heavy rain comes. I have to say this summer has been good for gutter cleaning. We as a matter of course flush down pipes as when I began I got a couple of call backs which in my eyes is not good for business, so it has become the standard. We use the Powerpole from Omnipole and a 5.5 hp Honda 150 bar, pressure washer which is more than adequate (150 bar is the max pressure for the powerpole hose) We have 40m of hose mounted on a reel which is bolted to a pressure washer trolley which makes the job much easier. (Omnipole has made some really good attachments for the pole which let us clean & flush any depth or profile of gutter  - at around £30 - £75 they have been well worth the money - ask Andrea or Keith for details)

We have also got many new window cleaning contracts on the back of the gutter cleaning, as we offer a "special" discount for companies that wish to take up both services. We have also evolved due to this and now we now offer full service contracts.

For those who have bought systems lately make sure you get you web presence sorted now as its about to get very busy as soon as the leaves start falling. We have found that web advertising is the best way to go s when they are in a rush the customer will just google it.  (My free tip of the day)

hi kevin r.....advice needed

i got my gutter vac and camera about three weeks ago but have just got round to practise with it at a local school. but i have a problem,  i asked a lot of questions at omnipole pole and one of them was can i use the system on my own as i am a one man band, and was told that i could, but yesterday i was going to try to clean a gutter at about 30ish feet and there was no way i could lift the pole up from the ground, bear in mind that iam 6ft 2 and 15.5 st and go to the gym twice a week!!

also it seems to me that you need one person to use the vac and another to use the camera at the same time as in the piece of gutter i was trying to clean there was a plastic water bottle in the gutter there was no chance of getting that out without somebody looking with the camera directing me to it..am i doing something wrong because at the moment i am struggling big style.

Ok, I do to about 35 ft by myself on level ground but after that I get help. It does take practice. Let the tool take the weight , use the black tube with the cross member and rest it on the gutter and jiggle it along every few feet then go back over once again to be sure. Set the too to almost face the pole and the bar will support the weight. After 35 feet use the support pole and another person. Look at the picture below - see how I rest it on the gutter and how the tool is set to face the pole? On deeper gutters rest the cross member on the gutter.

Ok, use the camera, record a section then play it back. Omnivac the area, then use the camera again to check your work. Dont try looking at the monitor while you record there is no point. I just have mine inside a camera bag recording. I never use it while I vac.  I use it on a separate Powerpole.

I hope this helps  ;D
