I was cleaning the windows of a village hall this morning...

A woman walked over and said: "I don't normally approach strange men (insult number 1) - But I've been after a window cleaner for ages".

Me: "I'm not that strange! - Would you like a quote?"

Her: "Yes please"

Me: "OK, I'll pop over in a minute when I've finished here"

I pop over the road to take a look at her house...  Before I look she starts telling me about her last 2 window cleaners.

She says: "The first one I had 20 years ago, but he's retired now... The last one only came for about a year, now he's gone off and got a proper job in an office (insult number 2).

Anyway... I look around the house. I would've normally quoted £15, but because of the 2 insults I quoted her £20 instead       -    Which she accepted      -     But only after telling me she only used to pay £10   :

The job only took me 30 mins and she was pleased with the results... She wants me to add her to my regular 8 weekly round in the area - But I have a feeling she might be "one of those customers" if you know what I mean!

I've had that before! the lady only wanted a one off and in my head i was going to say £30, but as soon as she said that i said it will be £50 please!! She said yes and paid up front too
