spent alot of money on adverts recently, mags, website under development leaflets, portfolios etc, only calls ive had are from leaflets and a free line ad on some website, cant even remember what now, window cleaner directory or something, wondered what you guys found most effective for the money, or even free??? Not canvassing though:) Iknow that works best and do alot of it, but want something that is less time consuming too.

SEO. search engine optimization. there are companies that you pay to get you on the first page of Google etc. You don't have to pay for it though, just do lots and lots of reading up. Thats where the commercial work comes from.

just type SEO or search engine optimisation into Google. theres loads of info out there thats easy to use, especially if you control of the content of your website.
