This question has probably been done to death, but i will ask anyway
What is the verdict on the best pole for doing up/down on standard domestic work day in and day out, ive got one that came with my system but it has been used heavily and due to pack in, got gaffer tape all over it!! So want something reasonably priced as its gonna get hammered, but good quality, i dont really know much when it comes to wfp as im new to it, its been a steep learning curve!

oh yeh i forgot about brodex, my neighbour is a window cleaner and all his gear is from brodex, will check them out.

my every day pole is a 17 ft excel, short enough for downstairs, fairly light and cheap to replace.

Ive got 17 foot x-tel and slx and have to say as a everyday pole for price on a normal house id get x-tel i use my slx on 3 storey town houses and to get above windows on large conservatories as its so light, but it doesnt close down to 5' 7"

just been on the gardiners website and it appears the smallest sl-x is 35 foot, is it not a bit much for standard domestic, not cheap either, although its light at 1.3 kg!!!

slx looks the business, but does it last because when you can get a pole for £80 why pay the extra, i cant see the difference in weight between 1.5 kg or 2 kg being that much of a problem, maybe if they were 60 ft not 18?

As far as i'm aware this is only for manufacturing defects & nothing else.

So, it's very unlikely to happen & even harder to prove IMO.
