argos stores

hi  is their anyone here .who is subcontracted out to argos stores .and have been asked to decrease thier charge by 40%. or is it just the company i work for .plus one clean per week instead of 2. thanks guys hope u dont mind me asking . tacky in south wales

I do a few and as yet have not heard anything regards cutting back. Who do you sub for? I know they use at least 2 companies for the window cleaning.

good news, just been in argos and EVERYTHING has been reduced by 40 percent.

I have just done a couple and they are in the process of being re tendered so I guess we will all find out soon what is happening. I think Argos are cutting back so the money and frequency of cleans will go down.

Just recieved the letter this morning from Trafford Park advising that from the 1st Sept to only clean the Argos store once a week and reduce the bill by 40% 'due to the current economic climate'!
splish-splash....give me the cash!

anyone do co operative stores, do they do their own contracting locally or is it national, theres one about 100m from me.

Mike G, I currently clean the store twice a week outside and once a week inside, and I haven't asked for a price increase for 2 years either....... >:(

i do the same as markeybop .iv had no increase in 8 yrs .i mentioned this to trafford park in a e mail .like said earlier they must b ready to put in a new quote .n paying us 40% less to put in cheaper price
