I got most of the gear from Arthur @ sureclean systems.
The heater I got off ebay!

The whole setup prob cost less than €3000, including EVERYTHING, right down to the paint on the floor.

The hot setup cost less than €300 if I remember right.

how hot dose the heater temp go up to ?can it be lowered to about 20c or higher

The heater has an overheat protection which kicks in at about 80 degrees C. At minimum power it will increase the water temp by about 20 - 30 degrees C, depending on your flow rate.
I rarely use it above its minimum heat setting unless I'm cleaning cladding etc.

Get a Rinnai or a morco heater. The very lowest end models. (because the problem with any on demand heater is that the flow rates have to be high to keep the burners alight).These have a pilot light.

The heater that Nathaneal recommends(marizboa) is automatic ignition (ie no pilot light) so seems the better choice but as someone who owns both types this is not my view.

to all with diy hot water setups. how does this affect your insurance ,as it is not proffesionally fitted ?, have any informed their insurance companys, and been given the all clear?

I told my insurance,.. they seemed completely uninterested to be honest!

Ref;Ins ,full disclosure and didn't find any issues with this.

I prefer a pilot light because it's simpler and I found that in the very cold/end of gas bottle(ie low pressure) the Marizboa was erratic and not shutting down. The 54eu that I use has a higher flow which I agree is not a good thing (remember I do have the bypass which I think everyone should fit), but it is extremely robust and reliable.

You understand a bit more about the actual working than I do, so I play safe.

I have it setup so that it's impossible for the heater to continue running when the flow stops. Its controlled by both a relay and a pressure switch to be doubly sure.

It's not just that though, I think we should widen the scope of our knowledge.Everyone uses those chinese things, we need someone to try out the Morco. Your e book should say any suitable heater.

True,.. but I can only recommend what I've tried myself,...

I'd be interested in anyone with a different make/model of heater who'd try the same control modifications so that it'll run at a lower flow rate. It'd be great to compile a list of heaters that can be used for WFP and the pro's and cons of each model.

And some guidance on use. Have you any idea of the pr damage that cracked my 2nd pane of glass guy is doing? You start an urban myth like that and you end up in all kinds of trouble. I've already got painters and decorators telling my customers pure water is bad for their paintwork and frames.

LOL,.. I'm luck, 99% PVC on my round!!

The next thing I'm working on is a dosing/mixing system for the van mount. I'm getting work cleaning roofs, which is quite possible using wfp with the right chemicals,... but filling the backpack every 10 mins is slowing me down!

I don't want to mix the whole tank, as I'll be cleaning windows afterwards,.. so a new solution is required!
