do be honest mate you don't need it but having said that  I used to have all my round on an excel spreadsheet and just print my rounds and prices on a sheet and put a line next to the house i did and a X when they paid which worked for me but i then had the free trial with goerge to give it a go and see what deal with it was i didn't get on with at first but now i have to say it does make life alot easier and for £50 i would say its money well spent for me its being able to just hot sink at the end of the day and all your work is updated and the next couple of days are added to your pda with a push of a button and i always know how much is owed etc plus i find it easier for planning in advance as i used to write jobs down and forget or lose bits of paper i had it on. I think for me to sum it up you can keep track of your whole business very easily with george and its all on a screen.. is it a neccesity i would say no..does it make life alot easier then yes it does..its all down to personal preference really..

hope that helps a bit

 ;D  ;D

I use a diary, and to be honest, spending 5 weeks just loading my whole round into one of these gizmos gives me the impression I might find watching grass grow more stimultaing.

I used to use pen and paper but like having a dishwasher, George might seem lazy but if you think about it, why waste time washing up when you can use your free time doing something with the family or whatever?? pen and paper is good, but george is better....way way better!  ;)

Sounds like you haven't give it a chance mate. I use it all the time. Been using it for months.  Looks complicated but for scheduling and printing off job sheets I'm well happy with it for a tenner.
