I have to put in a quote for a school builders clean expecting it to take 5 days for 2 men was going to quote £3000
Taking into account that it is twice as hard as normal work does this sound fair?
The last school i did took 2 days on my own and was hard work and to be honest i should have charged 50% more as this one is twice the size and i now realise how hard jobs of that size are does it sound fair or just greedy?

We find its on the larger sites that you come up against initial / ocs etc, some of their prices can be ott others though i have come across are to cheap for me to compete with. Cheap labour costs for them.
At the end of the day work out your day rate and try to stick to it!!
Good luck, i've quotes for 2 colleges at 6k each, and never had a sniff back  . You win some u lose some

Oh no he wont its my contract hopefully so i will be getting a larger percentage but he will be getting more than his normal daily wage a figure that he is more than happy with he actually quoted me a lower figure but as i am a fair person i will be paying him more

I dont think its obscene as their is alot of work involved with a builders clean and i will have to put off a whole weeks work to fit it in so it has to be worth my while.... and i am the best window cleaner in the world so i am worth it

I must admit I did miss the builders clean bit, it does make a difference....still obscene though
