Does the pole just connect to the backpack without puchasing any other parts?

you can buy a fitting for it, or do like i did an put a hoselock tap on the end they fit fine. then adapt it to mircobore, its not hard

so at the back of the backpack there is a hoselock size fitting that you can attach a hoselock to and then either use hoselock or mircobore to your pole. How much hose do you backpackers use because i have noticed that alot use them on trolleys. Are they too heavy when full to carry on your back ::)

Cheers, very tempted to get one to go with my trolley. But still not convinced with wfp. Still getting bad results sometimes and i cant figure out why. So dont really want to chuck more money into it.
