Quite a bizarre thread really, the more it goes on, talking about someone as if they're not here.

Surreal? Maybe.

Odd !! For sure.

just lately ive noticed some of you slagging off alex's hard work. im not being funny guys but if your so good why arent you out supplying and making equipment yourselves?

alex works hard and is not only a supplier but also a window cleaner so he know what he's talking about. it takes alot to be a supplier in the game and to be fair i think hes done a pretty good job. i dont know any other supplier who is so helpful on the forum as alex. his replies are promt and helpful.

i havent used the new brushes yet but i will, and i know for a fact alex has spent some considerable time making them. the slx ive heard is a super pole and i would love to have one.

i dont like how you are all slating him to be honest. ive ordered a few things from alex and the service is probably one of the best ive known. and therefore has gained my trust.

my sl2 is by far the best bit of equipment i have used and has now paid for itself and now im making money with it. ive never had a problem with it and on one job i use it all day long, makes the job a breeze. no sections sticking toghether as i have put it together correctly and used the spray that was supplied with it.

so all i would like to say is thank you to alex for your hard work and keep it up!

and when the rest of you start making poles and brushes (yeh right) be prepared for your slating

oh deary me

i make a post that ive tried the SLX  and people throw teddies out of the pram, alex replied to my post with a honest reply, he would like it lighter, fair play to him

the reason i made the post

first off, if a new member came on here and read this board, he would think the only pole to get is the SLX, its not, if you have a averga domestic round then you have other options, the RT| Zensorflex is a very light pole ( as i said in the OP ) the SLX isnt much lighter than the cleantech own brand ali 3 X 2 M pole ( also put in the OP )

so its ok when every1 signs the praise of alex, but  some1 cannot make a constructive opinion post stating the the SLX is heavier than i thought it would be, its too heavy for me on my round, i guess ive spoilt myself with the lightness of the RT

lets not lose sight of the fact, alex is helpfull on here, but he also sell's his gear on here, alex was big enough to reply to my post, fair play to him

Matt,
I didn't read your other post but this forum needs people like you that can make an informed evaluation of equipment.I wish people, even you included, would make more of an effort when they attempt a revue. I want proper top gear style reviews. Luke's the biggest let down for this, he has both the knowledge and the brains but when he's on the spot all he does is gush.

From what you say of poles I wouldn't want the hose flapping  so the cleantech one you mention might be an option. When are these suppliers going to learn that if they want proper objective revues they must send us loaners....

That's a bit harsh on Luke?

Whether you like it or not, the SL-X is the best telescopic on the market. The Unger alu is so floppy, it's worse then a Harris.

You don't really think you'd be faster with a modular then an SL-X on Domestics? Maybe grow some muscle, I'm the skinniest guy, and the SL-X is a featherlight.

If Gardiner Pole products never had any critiscism, you'd wonder if they were too good to be true. You'd be wondering what's the catch and wether they should name themselves 'Carlsberg', (probably the best ...) Too many fans never like to constructively critiscise publicly about any problems they may have with any goods they have purchased. They should, that way the problems are made aware and knowing Alex, would be resolved at his or Gardiner Pole Systems earliest opportunity unlike many of the other wfp suppliers. Alex has a loyal fan base because he listens to feedback and responds as necessary. Anyone who just comes on here and slags off a product be it whatever supplier they bought from without giving a reason why they're slagging it off is just wasting a comment.

No one is knocking Alex personally as he comes on this forum and conducts himself in a professional manner and doesn't force his products on any of us, we make that choice for ourselves, aided with all the positive feedback from other users from this forum/fanclub.

Gardiner Pole Systems lead the way in wfp when it comes to innovation and customer service simply because their products are designed and tried by window cleaners for window cleaners.

I don't kiss backsides and I speak my mind.
