Someone tried it a few years back and advertised heavily. They even had a site in Brighton with a couple of car cleaners.

I did buy some of their products but found it hard work and never was comfortable with the concept of waterless car cleaning, it just does not sound right.

I think they were called The Waterless car Cleaning Company, seems to have evaporated now.

Cheers for the feedback guys. To be honest we're not sure what to go into at the mo, as we live on the south coast we've even looked at boat cleaning!

Good money if you do the top end stuff but the rest is a waste of time, charge more for the expencive cars and boats as more risk also push the sale of a good quaility paint seal system plenty of profit in that.

It's not the products that do that, it's cleaning with water & sponge/cloth.

Cleaning with water creates cobweb scratches to you car, look at any car under the light and you will see those scratches.

Hi Andy

The above is reffering to myself. We had a waterless cleaning service in the Churchill Sq shopping centre in Brighton.

sadly it only lasted a few month as we had a director fallout. The products are excellent (we used Autobella) the finish was amazing but in my view we charged far too much, people didn't want to pay too much while shopping.

They have a water based hand wash in there now.

Don't think autobella is available any more? You can get the dri wash 'n guard system. Do some research on the net for the 'waterless detailers' they are a mobile franchise business.

If you watch Ideal World there is a company promoting a  Waterless Product

I cant remember there name but if you  find out  and Goggle the name of the supply company you can buy direct, as they sell to the trade.

This is Proshine "Spray & Shine", an American product handled by Worlds 1st, 33 Braymeadow Lane, Little Melton, Norwich, NR9 3NH. 01603 812181.

I use it on my car and van. Gets a lovely shine. If the vehicle is really really dirty I will wash it first.
