Please help!

Diversity...................We all have to start somewhere that's how business grows!
Is there a genuine cleaning professional out there who agrees with this statement (without reservation ???) & is willing to mentor & provide some unrestricted info and answers to questions relating to a submitting a quotation.
I am new to this having mainly dealt with domestic side to date & would be very grateful for some help!
Thank you

Hi Maggie,

You are joking???

I sent you a 20 page essay and didn't think to save it!!!

I will have to try to remember what i wrote and send it to you again, although i fear it will be a shortened version.

hi tim,

how's life, had a big meeeting last week, and looks like things are moving quite fast for us, a new van every month for the next five months.

just starting to put the finance plan together, and then another meeting next week, so all looks pretty good.

hope business is ok at your end.

regards

martin

Hi Martin,
Yes, not too bad at the moment.
Are waiting for a reply to three quotes at the moment from sites for George Wimpey, Linden Homes and the large one I mentioned a couple of weeks ago from Peppiatt Contracts for large site in London.
Have a meeting tomorrow with the Director to discuss another van for the company....'cause we need another one. Not quite as many as yourselves - just yet.
Have been keenly watching your progress as you write things on different postings and get the impression you are getting bigger quicker than anticipated....which is not a bad thing.
Have you many replies from people RE: Spreading your wings over to Oxfordshire way? and providing them vans etc??
What sort of vans do you use and do you find them OK, too large, too small etc.
We are looking into the Ford Connect vans, possibly even the long wheel base connect van with a row of chairs behind the driver, so we can send 4 or 5 cleaners in the one van....depends on how much room is left in the back.
I now have a sales guy who will be selling the services we offer to different building companys / Surveyors etc.... Hope we don't end up stepping on each others toes when it comes to bidding for jobs...???!!!
Catch up with you later Martin,

Regards

hi there,

the new vans will be Scudo's on 12 month swap out.

i like the idea of seats behind the driver row, be careful, post fit ones are expensive.

i think the scudo will be about the right size a mid size bit of kit

where are you based again.

just crunching numbers today, and then off to bournemouth tomorrow.

oxfordshire is a chicken and egg situation at the moment, i have had interest, and if we wanted we could start 15 sites next week, finance meeting next week.

Hi,

Yes, based in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, near Watford way.

We are waiting for a price on the connect vans with the extra seating arangements and a price for basic model - wait and see difference in costings.

Our sister company has a contract with Ford for their fleet of Transits - about 18 Transits i think, so we should get a good price..

All the best for your meeting in Bournemouth - lovely part of the country
