got this commercial job that I do monthly - Problem is I cant stop the spotting - tried every thing! my water is never more than 12 ppm! its the only job I do that spots! Help!

Take a close look at the frames, some of those constructed with metal frames tend to have vent holes in them.
As for 12 ppm I think you know what people are going to say about that.

have you tried a lower tds  there is not many on here let there water go above 001ppm

I do at least 50 commercial jobs I dont get any spotting probs, Only on this one site - cant work it out!

Is there a bead of silicon around the metal frames?

you arent giving much away what type of frames are they and are they spoting the whole way round the building or just one side

not sure - but its one of these new trendy glass covered buildings - the only frame work is at the top of the glass

If there's spotting running vertically below drainage holes then that's the problem.

If it's only at the top and there's silicon around the frame, then it's probably that.

When you rinse does the water 'sheet' equally or does it repel around the window frame edge. I have one exactly the same, sometimes it's fine, other times it's a nightmare. Tried brush on, brush off, doing the frames, leaving the frames. does my head in to be honest. Won't give it up 'cause it's a nice little number, if it was a house I would have ditched it long ago. Customer has excepted that it's impossible to clean immaculate each time.

 Forgot to mention, I've tried it hot & cold with wfp and neither seems to make much difference.

yeah know what you mean! I dont mind too much though - gives me a chance to go trad for a while!

when you do this perticula job its not always windy is it
what type of com building is it any dust that can be blowing about in the air or dusty roads traffic is throwing around is there just a thought
as for 12 ppm ouch

On my problem window, (just the one), it's definitely not the wind as this window is sheltered. It's a ground floor window near the main entrance and I sneakily suspect it's being cleaned with some detergent (by the customer, although they say they aren't using anything), and it doesn't sheet noticeably differently to the other windows.
