Looking at getting a 45 to 50ft pole the emporium poles look good, anyone here use one?? i would like to know your views on these poles. Thanks Rob.

Saw them at the cleaning show in Coventry.. Although they look like the SL2 and are slightly lighter they felt very flimsy and when squeezed they would compress inwards. I'm sure if I applied more preassure I ould break one by just squeezing. Not 100 % sure they have changed them since then but definatly didn't feel as well made as the SL2.
My personal opinion is the SL2 is worth more then the little extra in cost.

I have had an SL2 from the start and it is still in the condition i received it,perfect.I did buy an emporium pole and sections kept breaking and chipping on a daily basis,needless to say i no longer have it.I didn`t find it anywhere near strong enough for daily use at any height,IMO it was just a re labled fishing pole which must have had next to no real testing in the field.

The gardiner super-lite is what they refere to as SL-2 (super-lite 2)

The best modular pole you will get for WC,if you buy 1 get Alex to glue a thread in the end for you as it makes it a far far better pole in use i find, and if Alex is telling the truth i`ll bet he`s done his 1 by now aswell lol.

hi sad to say i bought the emporium .i to had problems with cracking .what i found was that the top 4 sections are far too flimsy and have had to go down to section 5 before i have a usable pole .saying that the guy at emporium is really nice but as gardiners werent at windex i went for emporium and have paid for it (literally)
