Van Insurance
« on: July 25, 2008, 04:01:43 pm »
Just had a quote on a 3rd van and they quoted me £1100  , I dont know where they got that figure from as I am only paying about £300 each on the other 2 , one of them has a 19 year old as a driver on a 60% policy the other is just one years no claims,

It looks like they are just taking the mick.

Any ideas ?

Dave

I have 5 vehicles insured with A Plan, so due to this i get full no claims on all the vehicles, think they are all insured with red star?

are theyinsured on a block policy or are thhey insured individually. If its the latter you might find that your no claims bonus is only counted on a certain amount of vehicles

Insured individually. Its because equity red star will give you full no claims if you have more than 2 policies with them, well so Im told.

Took house insurance out with them last week, saved £115 from the cheapest quote.

shop around dave.
This is a good comparison site.
www.autotrader.co.uk/VANS/insurance/van_insurance_centre.jsp

Although i found a company called quinn-direct to be by far the cheapest for me. Google them for site, they are near the top.
