cage for tank quote WTF

went to a fabricators witha drawing for a cage i wanted and he quoted 360 quid.

nae chance am i paying that.

tank is 400 ltr tank.

Depends on what its made from, how many welds it will have ect. I know steel along with alot of other  products has gone up. So you are paying for the materials, someone who knows what he is doing and obviously the company will want to make a bit of profit as well.

That price is about right unless your buying them in bulk,i would try and get a few quid off and get it at least you can have things where you like on it.

this was througha contac tfrom a friend who gives this company about 80k worth of work per year. Mate told me to say who sent me to him etc in the hope of a good price. Even my mate was a bit funny with the price.

Like NWH says i also dont think its a bad price either. Have a phone around and get another quote.

freedom will be about 300 upwards. I was hoping to get it for less and the plac ei went to i thought i would have got a deal considering my mate gives them about 80k of work per year

may be able to help you. we have now changed our frames from stainless and started making them out of a strong grade of aluminium. if this would be of intrest let me know what you would like on the frame ie pump plate ect and i will give you a quote.
