I wouldnt worry too much, its not in the interests of the water companys to put everyone on a meter. The Tories set a mandate years ago to have EVERYONE on a meter and it passed off with very little effort being made by the water boards other than by Anglian Water ( I used to work there), and they soon realized that turnover was being reduced because of it so the whole process slowed down. Its nothing new.

My water bill was £16 a month before I started my business 2.5 years ago. It is now £32! I am metered. I can live with £16 a month for business use.
Dont know what all the fuss is about!!!!

Why do most wc's moan at having a water meter.
The majority run their businesses from home,so presumably they have no real business costs,i doubt most even tell the local councils to adjust to business rates...so why moan when you have to pay a few quid to manufacture your water?
If you dont like paying the small amount of extra water rates then give up wfp and get your ladders out,i am sure a customer will let you fill your bucket up.
