wood stain

hi just wondering what you guys would use 2 get a wood stain out of a carpet got the job tomorrow and i think its been cleaned a while ago and a wooden table has been left on the wet carpet by some idiot and has 4 round wood stain patchs. Its not a varnish stain thought its the stuff they use 2 stain wood.

any help wood be great

Regrettably the clue is in the name - "stain". It's a permanent stain on carpet especially if old. Theoretically some advance stain procedure may get it out but would the client be happy to pay to reflect the time and skill it would take?

Probably easier to point out the defects of the previous clean in a polite and professional manner - and then put the table back over the stain.
