Element For Heatmate
« on: January 31, 2005, 02:32:33 pm »
While surfing net earlier today I came across a supplier wh sold elements for a Heatmate. I di not know you could buy one.

Are they easy to install without specialised tools.

What's a Heatmate? Prochem?
If it's anything like the Ninja Steammate, piece of cake. Loosen housing, undo 2 connectors, slde old element out, slide new one in reconnect, refit steamate. Job done.

Dennis,

The heatmate is the forerunner to the Steammate - fixed thermostat and lower wattage. Available from Ashbys, Kleenrite and a couple of others.

I realise that now, I've just had my Ninja manual out for something else.  :-[

Does anyone know where you can get the thermostats for these, without paying the over inflated prices from the carpet supplier..
I owe a heat exchanger from masterclean and the thermostats on this continuely go.

Dennis mines in the machine.

I found this supplier by putting altec spelt wrongly in search engine and a supplier for Discount Prochem products came top of search who turned out to sell Masterclean products, No idea who they are but noticed this element.
No address.

It might be the same company Karl is refering to.
