thought i'd have ago at before and after, i'm new to the game, just 6 weeks since my first paid job, used multi pro pre spray at 1 to 4 then fib fab to rinse in the trucky, customer was gobsmacked and so was i, but then i am a newbie. £50 for 1 hours work and got a fiver for me 2 year old lad as a tip. anyway just thought i'd share this with you as i'm sure you guys will remember your early days when you were well proud of reults like this, maybe your still proud, i hope so.

ive got a boxer 421, used full heat, and it just came out, didn't even need to spot after wards, just rimmed the edges with some zip it and a tez towel and bobs your uncle. wish wool was that easy. or maybe it is, i just dont know it yet. unfortunately i just stick to pre spray gold for wool, to early to start trying new things, play safe, thats my motto, all though i'm open to suggestions.

I got a boxer 421. I use powerburst as prespray and carpetclean xl un the tm. I do an Indian restruant and usually have to prespray with ultrapac renovate. Where are you based Derek?. Will you be going to the Hydramaster "dirty weekend" next month?

no gerry, not going to the dirty weekend, wanted to and john keeps asking but i need to get as much work in as possible, spent a lot and need to get some of it back, slow going but i'll get there. 4 jobs this week and a quote to do on wednesday, fingers crossed, i'm in the mid cheshire area.

Good results, it can be really hard work getting greasy soil out of flotex.

Running a tm and only 6 weeks since you cleaned 1st carpet! You've obviously jumped in head first.... Good luck my man

nothing wicked back up, we give a courtesy call 2 days after every job to make sure our custys are still happy with the work and so far ive not had to go back, we did some research before we started the business and found a few people weren't happy with there last job but never complained, just said they wouldnt use again so we add the courtesy call just in case that happens, this way we can put it right and hopefully keep the customer, as for head first with a trucky, i had my carpets dne a year ago with a trucky and it just developed from there, a lot of planning and a lot of money and now i'm here, and all though a lot on here seem to think its not a good time to start a cc business i'm the opposite, i think its the perfect time, recessions to me means mend and clean not replace, hope i'm right.

Regardless of cleaning machinery ........... the effort and eye for detail is what brings customers back 

Your customer service will win & keep you customers, so do not let that slip and rest on your 'TM' laurels ............. many porty users have picked up jobs from ineffective TM users ........... when we all know that it should be the other way round

i'm not knocking portys at all, there awesome machines and in the right hands can do a better job than me for sure, the trucky appealed to me for ease of set up and the fact you can do a large full house without a water change. nothing to do with the clean. customer service is parramount in this sort of work, i was in retail for 14 years self employed and no this all to well. treat them like a family member is what i say. hopefully in a few years i'll be able to clean aswell as you guys. (porty or trucky) then there'll be no stopping me, first cheshire, zen zee vorld, oops sorry, got a bit carried away there. must admit, i'm loving it at the mo, just wish i had a lot more work.

Good luck, the key is more work, you need to work 5 , no 10 times as hard on this as the cleaning !

There are many would be CC's who love the work, independence etc bit just cannot make it pay, I was nearly one.

It's a tough game in a tough market, internets the way to go plus leaflets.

you realy need to go.....  i was new and i guess i still am to t.ming if i never went to the t.m.ccdo two years ago i would still be struggleing to get my head round somethings

ull meet some great people and make some good friends at the dirty weekend which will help you on your way to make even more money without wasteing any trust me you would be a fool to miss it

we cant go , how ever give it some real thought befoure putting money frist !
