Lee,

I have used our local Prochem distributor 3 times  , and twice they didn't fix it properly and I had to do it myself :'(

Who do you recommend?

Cheers,

Doug

I hear what everyone is saying about reliability and the quality of back up service, and it appears that most observers are treating them as a single issue. It isn't.

If I were to look for a high performance portable that has previously not been available on the UK market, there are many factors to consider.
Does specification/performance meet or exceed my expectations?
Do owners elsewhere rate the reliability and performance?
All things considered, is the purchase price competitive?

And from the back up perspective
Who are the UK agents?
Are components available from multiple sources?
What is the agents record for quality of service?

There are probably other factors to consider too. For me, the choice would come down to the AO Recoil 3 from A&M or the VO Eclipse from Solutions. I would have a difficult decision to make as both machines and both agents all have first class track records. Which is more than can be said for for some of the better known names within our industry.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
