« on: July 05, 2008, 01:57:34 pm »
Hi  all

Managed to get a driveway sealed yesterday afternoon using a acrylic sealant , in 1 or 2 places there are bits of sand on the face of the blocks that has picked up on my roller does any one no how to recify this little problem

Thanks   John

use one of those petrol leaf blowers before you seal to blow the loose sand of the drive.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

If its just a bit you need to soften the resin (re imulsify it) and remove the sand by scraping of resin and sand then a light recoat when youre happy. If it's all over then its a big problem, I know a lad who did this on his first couple of jobs, he told custy (and he's probably right) that its intentional to meet the anti slip minimum requiremts for your safety
I'm always in the poo, it's just the depth that varies
