pressure washing question?
« on: July 01, 2008, 06:33:26 pm »
if you guys leave your machine on board the trailer or van what if you have a job where the area to be cleaned is right at the back of a big house?  do you have a load of pressure hose going right around the building from your van or do you take the machine out and wheel it around the side?  cos i only have 3 lenghts of 10 metres hoses (30 metres) so it wont reach, or would i not lose pressure if i connectd another 2 lenghts (20 metres)  to total 50 metres?  and also  if your round the back do you leave your van open with the hoses out?  anyone could take any stuff, like tool boxes or anyhting you carry?  as i said i take machine out and wheel it around and lock van but its a pain taking heavy machine out my back is killing.

will ask roger oakley on this one as he has a trailer, wondered if his hoses reached all away round and he leaves it open,,

thanks guys, im just wondering  whether a trailer or big van is more cost effective you see.    dont want to put myself under massive pressure buying new van but i wanted a 1000 ltr tank, i only have a renault kangoo with no water on board.

Don't know if you have the vehicle lined up yet but I will have a mint 04, 1.9  cdti swb Vivaro, 32k miles, full plywood in rear with 1000 litre tank fitted for sale in the near future. Looking £5995 no vat.  Mail me on davyph@btinternet.com if interested.
