Anyone in chester area?
« on: June 30, 2008, 08:24:56 pm »
Hi

I am bidding for a contract to clean an office block in Chester and they want inside windows done twice yearly.
Is anyone interested in quoting for this work?
If so, call me and we can chat.  Just to give you an idea, there are about 1000 windows and some of them are high level inside.

cheers

Andy

hi sheepmeister, yeh i did, jons sounded a decent chap, i scrubed the first 6, had some degreasant on them then rinsed. brought the cherry picker down and had a look and you couldnt tell which ones had been done and which ones hadnt, i just rang him and said look ill carry on but you really cant tell which ones ive done. didnt want to spend all that time doing them for them to say you havent done anything then not get paid if you know what i mean, thank you so much for putting me onto the job, but unfortuanlty wfp was not the right thing for it, they needed pressure washing and i told him this. he was cool about it, bit gutted obviously but as i said to him, wfp was the method asked for and this was not the right method

thanks again and sorry i hadnt said thank you sooner mate, your in my will now, you can have one of my used scrims  ;)

LOL... cheers mate, I'm runnin' shorta scrims :P No worries, just shame it couldn't get done. Jonathan sounded like an OK bloke, so didn't wanna leave him in the lurch.

Ronnie, t'was a job up in Deeside, was a last minute thing, not sure if he still needs it doing? Give him a call though if you like, I don't have his number anymore but it'll be on the original thread.

this was his number 07977516567 BUT BY NO MEANS CAN YOU GO ON THE ROOF...BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG NO NO, so to pressure washer you would need some sort of long boom. the one i went on didnt even go past the first skylight, and you need a cherry picker licence too, well they wanted to see mine
