Hi Stuart,

I have a massive run of these inside one of my jobs. We do one side from a ladder. I charge 60p per pane but there are gallons of them. I hope that helps.  ;)

Ha ha,

Cherry picker time LOL, or the other way to do it if that is impractical is to use a pole from the floor side. Using the pole upside down first use a damp microfibre mop then dry with microfibre cloth in the jaws of a fixi clamp. will work a treat. No need to lean over but a lanyard on the pole would be necessary.

Charge 60p per pane, for the pole method and a bit more if you need a picker. It will be an easy clean as there wont be many finger prints on the outside.  ;)

Can’t get a cherry picker small enough to fit thought the doors but big enough to do the top panels which are about 70-75ft up

i was thinking of using a pole  or putting a harness on and leaning over  :o

or if i put a big price in i could buy a pro 10 lol :o

Teupen (spider Lift) will do it as a matter of fact but its a bit impractical inless you have glass that is inaccessible by any other method present.

I would do this with a pole as I mentioned in previous post with a  pole etc. Harness is Ok idea but the railings are not rated to take weight so I would stay away from the leaning over thing. Pole at arms length looks so much better in the RA.

I've done loads of these, and honestly 50 or 60p is a bit low IMO. If they are any way dirty at all, and if the client is any way fussy at all, charge at least £1 as detailing around those little brackets can be a right pain, and very time consuming. If you can just rub them with a microfibre and move on, then 60p a pane might be ok,....

Last time I did panes like that I charged €3 each,... but they were particularly dirty and very awkward access!

€3 = £2.37 at current exchange rate - Bet you dont have too many commercial contracts at those prices!

ive done a few of these leaning over them isnt easy im 6foot four and i struggle plus the blood goes to the head your practically upside down. try and practice
on a few of them to see how you go. if you do get the job permanently how dirty could the akward side be it might only need a microfibre cloth along the top for finger marks something for you to consider

£1 per side.
Damp micro, wrapped onto a DRY applicator on a small stick for the bottom half. Arm over the top for the top half.
