I know I promised a look a few weeks ago, but I had a few issues with Patent protecting the new design.  However it is all sorted out now.

For those who thought it a problem with the water switching off accidentally then this has been addressed.  The valves are less likely to be damaged as they are far more protected by the positioning.  The bars are far less likely to be damaged because of the very small length.

In all a much better way of saving water and time.

The bad news is there is a 3 week wait for one.

A very simple but effective solution Peter! I'm impressed!

No more accidental switching off,.. if you;re at the bottom of the window you're ready to switch off the flow anyway!

I'm guessing the shorter bar makes it slightly lighter too???

Yes but even if you want to clean the ledge there is no problem with accidental switch off because the angle of the brush ensures it dosn't.  It only switches off when you want it to.

Any news on the MKII clampless pole yet?

The same question was asked over on my forum, seems people are more interested in the clampless pole than the Autobrush.

I am waiting on a definite delivery date at the moment, hopefully soon.

From what I saw there are two short rods either side instead of one long one. I didn't quite grasp the sisgnificance of that.

I have a couple of ideas for keeping the pole hose tidy and general reel hose disipline, nothing you could patent, but a good product in the form of a harness to attach the reel hose to yourself and a hook to keep loops of pole hose off the floor.

Would you see a market for this?

As far as the other question, anything that helps with hose that dosn't waste any time is an advantage.  I wouldn't however think that attaching it to yourself would be an advantage, as it would make it harder for the person to move about.

I have not had a chance to use it yet still in packaging post office lost it for a while I think, I am guessing this is the old one, can I send it back and get a new one ? or could you send parts to change it, ?

Hi Ian, yes it is the old style, and yes you can send it back to be converted.  I am off on holiday for two weeks, so if you are sending it back it would probably be best leaving it until I get back.  You can still send the cheque though as there will be someone to collect my mail.

I never had much of a problem with accidentaly switching it off but my wife wouls use the pole and she would.

I was looking for a replacement valve for my autobrush. How do I go about obtaining one?
