EOT
« on: June 28, 2008, 09:03:41 am »
i have 2 meetings with letting agents on tuesday, so need a bit of advice. i have not dealt with eot cleans before and have been asked for time scales and prices for different size propertys i was going to give a per job price but they have both asked for a hr rate aswel, with having no dealings with this type of work before i was wondering if i can have some advice on how long different size propertys take to clean also average prices and advice on documents i need to take with me to the letting agents ie insurances risk assessements and similar.
this may make me sound stupid but i just want to get it rite.

                         thanks, robert.

hi Rob,

doc you require? Insurance - public liability, employers libility if you have employees.

Health & safety policy

Generic risk assesmesnts

Terms & Conditions - ie payment 30 days net

brouchure on your company

there maybe other forms that you may want to take or other people may advise but on my EOT thats all they have asked for.

Hourly rate? well that depends on you.. on average £12.50 - 20 ph.

Also depends if there is carpet cleaning... thats a different price ...per square metre and how many treads they have on stairs. What type of carpet etc

Maybe inspect the houses / flats work out how long they will take and from that price the job as a whole lot and work out an hourly rate. Yu will probbly loose out on hourly rate intead of price per job.

But it also depends on the condition of the properties to the price you might charge?

Hope this helps
