I love the wagtail but Im not a fan of the flipper bit. The wagtail its self is excellent for internal high level glass and really easy to use from day one. I found the flipper (mop) bit didn't hold much water and when you flip it it splashes the glass you have just done! Wagtail do a mop which works in the same way, I prefer this.

Get one you'll love it.  ;)

So better to get them seperatly? I thought the flipper maybe better for high level, ie just one pole.
Did you order direct from Oz?

I thought that too but just couldn't get on with the flipper. The flipper is a small piece of fleece which covers the squeegee blade. I didn't find it very good at holding water or scrubbing to be honest. The time saving is minimal as a proper mop is quick because of the coverage and bigger surface in contact with the glass.

I got mine from OZ. Postage is very quick

Just seen the demo on youtube, i can see what you mean, doesnt look that great. I'll order the standard squeegee and mop. Can you use just the one handle and use a standard channel, save buying different sizes?

The channel that comes with it is aluminum but it will take any rubber.  Its not a standard channel Im afraid

Hi Kevin, thanks for the replies. So its a unique channel, but i could buy just the one handle and have 3 different channels for it? The website doesnt give alot away.

We used to use them for inside pole cleaning, takes a little practice but not difficult to master.

I am a big fan of the combi, particularly for inside maintenance work using pure water with no chemical.
But one warning:-  Loads love them but some dislike them - I dont know why because I have never got a real answer - just I dont like them.

As you said Glyn, it can take half a day to really master one. The ones that said "I don't like them" just never persevered. I love the combi, is it true they stopped making them?

Every one I have bought has come with a channel.  I have a slimline and the original version. I only use them for pole work so I have never attempted to change the channels as I am happy with them the way they are. I dont like using them for every job just pole work.  I used to use the procurve pole for high level cleaning but the wagtail is much easier to control and use.

I know they stopped making the aluminium ones. But I still have some :) all be it a bit shop soiled as they have sat on the shelf for a few years - I went mad a few years ago and bought a thousand of them - thinking they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.
A completly new range was brought out about a year ago and I have tried several times to get some for stock.

Try using a bit of dishwasher rinse aid in your normal cleaning solution, You get brilliant cleaning with no suds. It's perfect for the Combi.
