vivaro stereo's

these are the type with a big face panel on them so they are no use in any other vehicle. mines has been locked out and needs a code but i am not paying vauxhall X amount of £ for it so wa swondering if you can fit own steroe and get a blanking plate somewhere.

You can go to your local car stereo shop and they can 'unlock' it for around a tenner.

Had the same problem with my car and they guy came to me. I showed him proof of ownership and he unlocked it there and then. He gave me the new code as well. All for a tenner.

if you have a manual or some sort of book it may be in there.

Yes you can get a blanking plate for a few quid in Motorworld or Halfords.
Then you can get a nice flashy mp3 job. :)

Yes you can get a blanking plate for a few quid in Motorworld or Halfords.

You dont pay anything for it  ???

i bought my van with no code but you have to ring the vauxhall dealer it was issued with for the first sale from factory. usally has telephone number on number plate.

i was told by my local vauxhall dealer to ring them and all sorted they keep records for every van.
