Advanced Stain & Spot Removal Course
« on: June 18, 2008, 05:33:31 pm »
Hi,
I have been Carpet/Upholstery Cleaning for 8 months. I use a Ninja 400psi and have been on the NCCA 2 day course.

Although I am happy with my cleaning results, I believe there is more I could do with some of the stains I have been faced with i.e. the usual favorites curry, wine, fake tan...........

I am looking at the NCCA Advanced Stain & Spot removal course, it is being run by Paul Pierce, who I found to be excellent on my CC course. It is quite expensive at £185 for 1 Day.

I am specifically looking at the use of reducing and oxidising bleaches.

Has any one been on it, is it good or are there other better courses out there.

Thanks Donato.

Has anyone been on this course and would you recommend it?

personaly speaking , I found the day interesting, learnt a little more than I already knew , so any advance in knowledge must be good.
On this  l learned a curtain cleaning techniquie form derick , which i still use today and for any one not au fae with heat transfer method  you will learn.

Very good.

I don't know where you got your information from, but it's wrong (but only slightly if your not a member)

The NCCA spot and stain course is £115 for members and £155 for non-members, plus the dreaded of course.

Visit the NCCA website for details.

Don't be worried about not meeting your own high standards for stain removal though. This part of our work is as much an art as it is a science. Throw in a few more years experience too and your success rate will improve but will never be 100%.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
