I have not suggested that he can go twice as fast!! The reason I suggest that he not mix the two methods on the one job is that it allows comparisons between the quality of both systems and if it is not the intention to use a mixed method going forward it is likely that his customers will begin to be selective regarding which method is used on their property in my experience. In our experience there is no difference in quality as long as you know what you are doing, ...so many think great "a magic stick with a brush on the end" As long as you have explained to the customers that WFP complies with H & S etc etc they will not be selective, as they will want you to continue with your service, rather than be injured or worse having fallen off a ladder at their property. If customers do get selective then you haven't explained your methods, whichever you use, well enough at point of quote,or you have done a bad job. Remember you can get a bad job with trad methods as well as WFP.If it is your intention to use a mix of trad and wfp and you are happy to do that then fire away no harm in offering a choice to customers, just not my prefered way to operate, and it is just my opinion. You don't offer them the choice you work to your own methods and explain that at point of quote.....they can always say no if they don't want either method as can you if they stipulate trad onlyAnother reason I dont do wfp top and trad bottom is that some houses drip from the upper windows and cause runs down the bottom windows depending on the style of building.
