How to Quote for big buildings?
« on: June 12, 2008, 09:20:34 am »

Hi Guys n Girls,
I posted a question yesterday regarding Church cleaning a lot of views one response, which was helpful but I need a bit more info. I have been asked to clean a 9000 sq ft church in Central London for 10 hours per week 2 hours per day. I was looking at charging £20ph bearing in mind if a cleaner does not turn up I will have to find another one or do it myself! Can anyone advise me is this too much does anyone else clean churches and how much do you charge regardless of the size. I have to get back to these people today to wrap up this deal so your suggestions and comments would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Gazza

Ok I dont clean clean churches. Ive done builders cleans and office cleaning.

I would say £20.00 that is too much in my opinion.

Minimum wage is around £5.75, so lets say you pay your cleaners £6.50 - £7.00 stick on 30 0 maybe 40%

Depening on materials like chemical, polish thats all thrown in. And at 10 hours a week thats not bad for doing nothing.

But like I said I could be out as I dont do churches.

Hi Gazza

We charge between £13.50 and £15 per hour per cleaner if that helps.

Kind Regards
