Out of the DI vessel I'm reading 001, with an insitu meter,
out of the other side of the brass connection with a handheld meter its reading 003
(which really means out of the vessel it's 003?)
at the tank it's going in at 004 (not much difference).

Which meter should I trust?  The handheld or the inline?

Not 100% sure but I have heard that the in-line isn't 100% reliable?

I would say the handheld, I would also say to get 2 handhelds for testing say once a week using both, inlines from what I know are not that good at being acurate but as a visual aide I guess helps out. Better to be safe than spotty

try recalibrating the handheld - they are more reliable than the inline meters bt do need to be recalibrated from time to time

How do you recalibrate a hand held TDS meter?

whats the benefits of checking the tds in different places as i only check it coming out of tank.

hi dean - to recalibrate you need calibration soln (ro-man) and you dip into the soln and adjust the little screw on the back of the meter until it reads what it says on the botttle (normally 342ppm)
