If I can do 20 houses in one day, how much would you expect 2 guys to do? 

We seem to be getting 50% more work done.  Is that about right?  I expect a bit more.  He seems as quick as me.  Wierd.

Your productivity would go up if you worked separately.  Starting at separate ends of the street, or even different streets.  Drop him off somewhere with compact work, and you go and work something else.

Be honest , if you are working with somone you must take a bit of a step back , and let him/her  go for it ?

i wish i finf myself working harder to hit the target i set to make employing worthwhile, but i can say today is the first day he worked on is own and earnt money for doing next to nothing

I have been working for a close friend for a few years now ! I love him as a friend , but I hate working for him ( He doesnt keep up with the times ) I hate to take money from him as I know he is underpriced !

i usally find one person does slightly more work two have to travel further though it is less monotiness

2 on same house I would say about 60% more work maybe 65% at a push.

Some one has already said working at one end meeting in the middle rate will go up to 90% maybe 95% and competition will start which is great for you.

I have tried every way possible with staff and them being on there own IMO is the best by far, working as a team but sepertate is next best working together on a house is the lowest.

I have seen 5 guys before cleaning one house  : they was quick I will admit, but 2 us of did near on the same work as they had to wait for payment were we just ticket and let them send the payment cuts out alot of time during the day.

If you employ put them on there own,it`s a must.You will get far more done,when your on your own for a while you`ll get used to it and find it much better and more productive.

Do not do trad much anymore at all, if only one house then one front and other back and side.

Say you have three or four houses that are reachable, does the the guy set off for one while you do the other or is it front and back then move on?

Do you stick the same so any complaints or comebacks if it was on the back you know who did it?
