I got the same system and the only fault is the hose connectors they use as the hose kept popping off so i got some of the metal gardiners ones they sell at b&q.

As you can guess guys. Its a setup from Andrew Mcann at pure freedom.

The only fault I could find was with the setup was..... Water going everywhere when I disconnected the hose from the port under the bumper. Only for a second or 2 but very annoying.

Easily solved with a hoselock type connector with an on/off valve/tap on it. Other than that its ggggreat.

Can I also point out how helpful Mr Mcann is. The amount of times he has offered me great advice i cant remember but he is such a top bloke with the best aftersales service I have ever had.

Looks good,is there anyway you can fill at home,i thinks it`s a waste of time having RO in van it just looks good for the customer to see.

Dave it takes 6ish hours to fill.

NWH, I do fill from home . Do you think I fill at my customers houses?

I also have a 300gpd system at home which fills my 1000l static tank.

I used to transfer to my smaller tank in my old van. Its not a waste of time NWH having the RO on board cos it would take me around 20 hours to fill without using the 4040 ro.

That's only 83l per hour, you should get a lot more if you have correct pressure. How much PSI do you have from your tap?

Tim. When I ordered the system, Andrew did tell me it would take around 6 hours to fill and purify at the same time. I think my tap pressure is around 4 bar.

 All the setup in the van is new.

When I was using my old van (kangoo) I purified the water in the 1000L IBC at home and transferred it to the van.

I've now sold the van and another cleaner has brought my old tank,pump and battery.

I too cant understand why an upright tank as surely the centre of gravity is to high and affects the van handling

Yea 60 PSI, that's quite low for a 4040, you'd be making much much more with minimum of 100PSI, membranes are rated up to 225PSI.

6 Hours filling time is too long for a 4040, I'd suggest investing in a good booster pump.
