Good clip there, you can phisically see that the brush is slowing you down in that clip. The problem your having there in the video is the reason why i hate those brushes, you don`t ever feel that it`s cleaned anything.I like to use a brush that i know i only have to get it on the glass and it will clean it it`s more a case of rinsing rather than scrubbing, you can see with that brush your having to scrub far to much.

What brush do you recommend?
I am not looking to buy one at the moment, but for future reference, cheers!

Entertaining & interesting. :)

Well done Ian for perservering in trying to share your vid clip with us lot on here.

You'd find it easier and quicker cleaning ground floor windows in confined spaces with a smaller pole if cleaning several.  Also easier to rub & rinse top openers in one go before moving onto lower pane IMO but everyone to their own method, whatever one finds easiest or most familiar that works.

You are over cleaning those windows,if you clean like that all the time you are doing more than you need to,when i first went WFP i was the same speed comes with confidence and when you get more your speed will triple.

With the right flow rate of water on regular work it should be just like colouring in,unless there`s birds poo on the glass you don`t need to keep scrubbing all the time.

One good thorough scrub covering everything is essential, then a quick rinse down from the top to the bottom in any pattern you fancy so long as the weight of the water pulls any gritty bits of dirt down with it.

I'm not trying to put anyone down. I certainly wouldn't try to put Ian down.

I'm just giving my honest useful advice if he or anyone else would like to try for themself.

One last tip: if you are going to use a long pole for ground floor windows you will find it a lot quicker and much easier to use a long reach pole fitted with a swivel head on the brush. If you don't believe me at my word, spend (invest as Clive calls it) in a cheap swivel connector and compare for yourself.

And you are not the only one that thinks the same I have met quite a few on here and pictured them totally wrong, even speaking to people on the phone is the same and I tend to speak to loads on here and other sites.
