Hi Alan,

can you let me know the facts about the salmon brush, have never used one myself.

They are not like the bentley are they ?(other name super lite)

I don't know what weight but they are incredibly light compared to Vikan, monofilament, 11inches wide, the bristles are crinkled, you can get them in blue, yellow and green and you can screw them on with the adapter if you pour boiling hot water into the neck of the brush, pour it out and screw in the angle adapter.

and no they are nothing like the bently, far far far superior in every way and just as cheap, no splayed ends to hold onto dirt either.

some of them do curl up a bit after a while though, hence why we buy a couple of boxes at a time (6 in a box)

Sry, facts I mean:

How well do they clean.
are they lite,
are they any good for first cleans are they flimsy (I tried a bentley once and trying to get bird muck off took forever and had to change brush to get it off meaning it was useless for everyday use.

the backing is very rigid but the bristles would be softer than a vikan, more rigid than a bentley - burnt on bird sh1.t can be a problem but it is for every brush I reckon.

they clean very well and the fact they are monofilament with really good waterflow means you can rinse on the glass with them

the autobrush is a salmon as well but is 15inch and is a totlally different brush

Ian, did you get your brush?

If so what do you think?

Personally I feel the bristles are a little too flimsy, thus not so good to be sure stubborn muck gets cleaned off, and the bristles can lose their shape. However, so far as the auto-brush goes, for me its the bees knees.

Its been mentioned in this thread that the Salmon is a lightweight brush, do you find it so? it seems heavier than a Vikan to me, a vikan ome sin at about 450g the salmon with the auto-brush setup on it is about 700g any idea what a salmon weighs by itself?
